Terms of Sale

Effective October 11, 2026

These terms apply to purchases from the Nyack Maker Ornament Shop at nyackmaker.com, which is run by Town General Store, LLC, Nyack, New York ("we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to them.

Orders

• Every ornament is made to order using the design and name you enter. The on-screen preview shows the layout we will cut. Because the material is natural wood, grain and color vary.
• Please check spelling and details before checkout. We cut names exactly as entered.
• We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if it can't be produced, contains offensive content, or appears to be fraudulent.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown on the site and at checkout. Shipping charges are shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Charges appear on your statement as TOWN GENERAL STORE.
• We may change prices at any time. Changes don't affect orders already placed.

Shipping, returns and replacements

Production times, shipping, the Christmas order deadline, and our replacement policy are described on our Shipping & Returns page, which is part of these terms. In short: personalized items can't be returned, but we'll replace anything that arrives damaged or that we got wrong if you contact us within 14 days of delivery. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier, but we will still help with lost or damaged packages as described there.

Our designs

The ornament designs, artwork, and site content belong to Town General Store, LLC. Buying an ornament gives you the ornament, not the right to copy or resell the design.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other events outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Nothing in them limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
